Life of Influence

Life of Influence
Preparing Hearts, Heads, and Hands for Kingdom Impact

Grades TK-12:  Students will participate in school-wide efforts to support missions for the cause of Christ and to support community organizations.

Elementary:  Students will participate in grade-level efforts to support or serve a community organization or a missions’ project.  This may include raising funds, gathering supplies, or participating in a service project.  Students will voluntarily contribute to chapel offerings which are designated for various mission efforts.

Middle School:  Students will individually participate in the Servant’s Heart Project by serving both their immediate and extended family members as well as serving in their church or their community.  Members of the Junior Beta Club will assist various community organizations through participating in service projects.

High School:  Students will individually compile a portfolio of various transformational projects/products that have been completed as part of the high school curriculum.  The portfolio will include the following:

  • Students will gain exposure to people, readings, and other experiences that highlight the need to be influencers rather than be influenced.  This is accomplished in grades 9-12 through reading books, listening to teachers/administrators speak of their experiences, and obtaining a mentor.
  • Students will develop a resume which includes a mission and purpose statement as they discover their gifts, talents, and desires.
  • Students will involve themselves in a service/advocacy project that matches their mission with the purpose of influence.
  • Students will develop a five-year plan during their senior year that includes goals for post high school influence based on their mission and purpose statement.

Members of various clubs (Beta Club, National Honor Society, Interact Club, Red Cross Club) will assist various community organizations through participating in service projects.

Fine Arts:  Students in the Fine Arts Program will be involved in service by performing in various community settings.

Athletics:  Students in the Athletic Program will be involved in service projects or raising funds for various community needs.
